Starting An Online Business With Imported Loudspeakers From India?

Hi,
I am looking to start a business where I will be importing speakers (a kin to bose) from India and selling to customers in the US via a website and channels like amazon.com, sears.com etc. I wanted to know the following
1. Are there import duties on products like loudspeakers? If yes, what would they be?
2. Are there certain guidelines or certificates that one needs to get from a body to certify them as legal to sell in the US?
3. Do I need to incorporate a company to do this or can I do it as an individual?
I would be grateful if can any help or resources to find this information could be shared with me.
